The CJC’s 55thanniversary occurs one day before our March gig with the Bridge City & Black Mountain Jazz Band and I’ve set out a bit of a potted history of the CJC. Also, Vice-President Andrew has kindly written a piece on the annual Australian Jazz Convention.
As always, we have some top jazz lined up in the coming months and I’m working to fill some of the gaps we have for later in the year.
Next up in February is the hugely popular Justin Buckingham’s ‘Rhythm Capital’ swing band and we are expecting a good crowd of dancers to take to the floor.
Member attendances at Jamison are steady and we seem to have enough reserved seating to cater for everyone so don’t hesitate to come along for what is a great Sunday afternoon out with fellow jazz lovers.
