In this issue, of note:-
- We announce that the AGM saw a new President elected, Andrew Gleeson, and Evelyn Foster re-joined the Committee as Vice-President. We thank retiring President John Madden.
- Membership renewals are now overdue.
- VALE long-term life member Phil O’Rourke.
- The member’s Christmas Party luncheon is not far off and bookings are now open. As expected, the CSCC has advised of increasing catering costs which means an increase to the price of their Christmas seniors’ menu. Although we continue to subsidise the cost to members, we must, unfortunately, raise the price this year.
